Sílvia Melo-Pfeifer, international coordinator of BOLD , presented the project’s achievements, principles and planned activities on the 26th March 2025 at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte (Brazil). In front of an audience that included human rights experts, teacher educators and in- and pre-service teachers, she talked about ‘Linguistic human rights and education for social activism in pre-service language teacher education: the European BOLD project’, at a round table in which Lívia Lemos Melo, representing the project “Pro-emigrantes”, and Carolina Moulin, coordinator of the Sérgio Vieira de Mello/ACNUR Chair at UFMG, also took part.
