BOLD social action in Athens – Comics creation with a multicultural team!
The Web2Learn team, represented by Katerina Zourou and Korina Defteraiou, organised and implemented a social action project in collaboration with the Department of Turkish Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Athens Comics Library.
The aim of the action was to bring together higher education students and students from migrant and refugee backgrounds, engaging them in comics creation as a way to promote linguistic and cultural diversity.

BOLD social action in Thessaloniki – Social empowerment of Deaf citizens through video series for health and wellbeing!
The Web2Learn team, this time with the involvement of Katerina Zourou, Stefania Oikonomou and Claire Fragkiadaki, also led a social action project in collaboration with the Department of English Language at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Deaf Association of Northern Greece.
The aim of this action was twofold: a) for students to enhance their knowledge and skills on inclusive and accessible pedagogical approaches; and b) for Deaf citizens to raise their voice and learn how to collaborate with Hearing students, thus overcoming social biases and barriers.
