Our module #4, part of our project’s 10 open access modules is published today.
Module B, entitled “Open linguistic data, governance and data activism” explores how open data and open governance inspire open linguistic actions and activism. It introduces data governance frameworks like Openness and CARE principles, discusses language variety by highlighting the importance of indigenous and endangered languages, and introduces the concept of data activism.
The module aims at offering a new approach to language activism through the prism of data governance
