One of the BOLD’s core activities is the development of 10 open access modules. Web2Learn as the leader of this activity (WP3) will participate in the 12th conference of the Hellenic Educational Society in Greece, this year titled “Hellenic Education and Research” that will be hosted by the University of Ioannina.
Stavros Samiotis, Katerina Zourou and Stefania Oikononou in their talk, titled “Active citizenship and digital action in Higher Education”, will discuss ways of how non-formal education can complement the formal one in the context of University teaching towards the enhancement of students’ civic engagement. In particular, they will emphasise on how language activism is transformed through digital forms of action, thus accelerating its impact and effectiveness.
